Achieve world-class business performance with Lean!
Schenck's Lean Manufacturing Practitioner Certification Training program is designed to develop Lean expertise in-house at your facility. A series of in-depth training sessions, the training program will teach your team how to identify opportunities to use Lean to create efficiencies, lower costs, and reduce waste in your processes—and gives you the tools to implement Lean throughout your manufacturing environment. The curriculum includes ten highly interactive half-day Lean training sessions:
1. Overview of Lean
2. Value Stream Mapping
3. Set Up / Changeover / Make Ready Reduction
4. Total Productive Maintenance
5. Pull System Inventory Replenishment
6. 5S and Visual Standard Work
7. Quality at the Source and Error Proofing
8. Cellular / Flow Processing
9. Team Building
10. 8-Step Team-Based Problem Solving
Certification requires attending all ten sessions, passing a written exam based on the knowledge gained from the training, and participating in at least one Lean Rapid Improvement Event in the certification candidate’s business with in the following year.
Training includes many real-life manufacturing examples, live hands-on simulations and video learning demonstrations of all of the Lean principles. In addition, this training can be customized to your business environment and presented on site (or at one of our five main facilities, if you prefer) to maximize your implementation of the Lean tools.
Take advantage of the efficiencies that can be found through Lean. To learn more about certification or to get started, please contact Business Process Improvement Managers Denny McCullough or Laurie McNicoll at 800-676-0829.
