Finding the Silver Lining in an Economic Downturn
In February, Schenck Business Solutions will be hosting a Real Estate & Construction Forum designed for builders, developers, real estate investors and professionals that support the industry. This annual event, which is in its 14th year (after taking last year off), will provide powerful strategies, both conventional and non-traditional, to maximize profits and reduce taxes. There is no charge to attend.
Topics to be covered include tax law changes relating to the real estate and construction industries, tax planning and structuring opportunities during a sluggish economy, opportunities to capture the “silver lining” in today’s environment, challenges facing the construction industry including bonding issues, increased IRS audit activity, and more.
The speakers are leaders of Schenck’s Real Estate & Construction Team, with a combined 50 years of tax planning experience: Ken Zacharias, CPA, Shareholder; Corey Kolbe, CPA, Shareholder; and Chad Zeller, CPA, Manager.
Lou Banach, CM&AA, Managing Director of Schenck M&A Solutions, will provide the keynote presentation on the current “credit crunch” and its effect on the industry.
